Ann Melite, Tecton’s Director of Interior Design and Vice President of Marketing, joined Tecton Architects in 2000. Her versatility with style and color are reflected in the attractive interior designs she creates for our Corporate, Hospitality, Advanced Technology, Education, Healthcare and Senior Living sectors.

As our Director of Senior Living Design, Ann continually researches a broad range of topics related to the specialized requirements of seniors and their environments, and is currently expanding her expertise and awareness of this field through the Masters Program in Gerontology at Saint Joseph College. Her experience and exploratory studies include various aspects of universal and patient-centered design, most frequently referred to as greenhouse or culture change design, and she has developed both culture change designs and finish standards for a network of skilled nursing facilities located throughout the New England, Tri-State and Mid-Atlantic regions.

When you meet Ann, you can’t help but notice her warm thoughtfulness, which permeates everything she touches, from her designs to the sense of family she has created within her department. When Ann does find the time, she enjoys entertaining, jewelry design, baking and gardening.
