The Sport and Medical Sciences Academy is a 158,000 SF Magnet School that serves more than 750 students in grades seven through twelve. It is built in the historic Coltsville section of Hartford, just south of the Dillon Stadium, and features academic programs that focus on careers in sports, sports medicine, sports marketing and medical sciences.

A “Hall of Fame” Concourse celebrates prominent Hartford and Connecticut sports figures and teams as well as prominent Connecticut medical science leaders. The building also includes a large, four-court field house with climbing wall, a state-of-the-art fitness center, weight room, training facility, television studio, computerized graphic design studio, advanced science facilities and a store/snack bar for events.
