A New York based developer’s vision for more technology incubation space to boost the local economy is closer to reality as the proposed modern “Flex Tech Building” has just been approved by local agencies. Tecton’s design of the 30,000 SF building embraces a sloping site by overlapping office and high-bay lab spaces, offering a wide variety of leasing options. The building envelope incorporates a variety of local materials, a reflection of the nature of varied business occupancy, giving much needed identity to upstart companies while maintaining a single destination ‘branding’ to the Tech Center. Lease commitments are in place and construction will commence this coming spring.
