The newly completed Grand Islander Skilled Nursing Facility features 50,000 SF of additions and renovations designed to bring dignity, safety and richness of life to residents and a pleasant and efficient workplace to caregivers.

Additions include a state-of-the-art physical and occupational therapy center, offering both traditional therapy treatments and an impressive Activities of Daily Living program, complete with laundry, bathing and kitchen activity areas.

Renovations throughout the facility fully embrace contemporary culture change initiatives and include comfortably furnished dayrooms that encourage socialization; country kitchens with small gathering spaces that promote choice and independence in self care; resident sleeping rooms redesigned as charming bedrooms; nurse stations discreetly blended into the residential environment; a memory care wing that incorporates patient-centered design in a secure setting; and innovative bathroom designs that present pleasant, spa-like atmospheres of private showers and therapeutic baths, personal dressing rooms and tranquil vanity areas.
